Firstly apologies for not being around much for the last couple of weeks… I promised at the beginning of the year to spend more time on my blog and try to post at least once a week, but that along with my other resolutions went up the wall by about the 5th of January! I have good reason though, I’ve been glued to my clay table making beads to take along to a real live bricks and mortar shop… The Bead Shop Liverpool.
The shop is owned and run by the lovely Vicky who has recently been joined by the equally lovely Clair. It’s on Smithdown road, just out of the centre of Liverpool and is a great place to drop in, have a chat and a coffee, buy beads, take classes, get help and advice… and now… buy handmade Blueberribeads!
I can’t tell you how chuffed I am that Vicky loved my beads so much, she wanted to stock them in her shop, and this week, after a month of making, everything was finally ready to take along. I had everything organised, stock lists ready, all carefully grouped and separated with a plan to go in, run through the numbers and do everything all business like. That lasted about 5 seconds once I’d got in there and excitement got the better of us!
Here they all are laid out on the table 🙂
I’d like to say a big thank you to Vicky & Clair, their enthusiasm has given me a real boost and a ton of inspiration, and I have lots of new designs, some of which will also make their way in to my Etsy shop in the next week or so.
If you’d like to drop in and see all the goodies in the shop, they’re at 238 Smithdown Rd, Liverpool, Merseyside L15 5AH, and their opening hours are: Monday – Friday 10am-5.30pm and Saturday 10am-5pm.
